How does Charles Stuart Parnell link in to Deaf history?

In 1789, a Private Bill became an Act of Parliament, and John Augustus Parnell was formally declared unable to inherit his father's estate. John Augustus was a 'deaf mute'.

Name / Shame? Another dilemma regarding Deaf history

[Originally posted on my Facebook page]

A question / dilemma for you.
I have located a series of newspaper articles from the late 1920s about a boy who was (allegedly) beaten at St Joseph's School, Cabra. His family wanted action taken against the school. Extremely sad but interesting.
But should I make the articles public with the boy's *name* attached, or should i redact / delete name? Bear in mind, the name was already made public in the newspaper at the time.

Loss of Arm (Lion Tamer) :D

Found an absolute classic today in the Rathdown Workhouse in Oct 1876.

Patrick Kelly, a 66 year old widower (hearing) enters the workhouse, and under 'Disabilities', is written "Loss of Arm [Lion Tamer]".
